To understand the significance of this feature, let me compare Skylum Lumina Neo’s revision system to the software I use daily – Adobe Lightroom. In Lightroom, edits are chronological, meaning you must go through every other step to revert to an earlier state. Therefore, if the point you want to revert to is not the last step in your edits, the software will erase all the previous edits to get to the desired edit point. So, for example, if you crop, dodge, and sharpen your image to redo the crop, you will have to go through dodge and sharpening. In other words, Lightroom will delete the two edits to take you back to the crop edit.
